If on MTD you have to mount system before flashing it.

Yea I did that, I placed the touchwix fill in the TPR zip before I put it on his computer and once I was done installing a Rom that actually works ( TPR) I mounted again and flashed the touchwiz zip.
It worked on his but ever since I learned ( form here) that the browser i was using accessed my personal info I have been checking before I decide on which I want to use, holo says it doesn't access my personal info so I kinda like that, I have ADW too and I like the ADW menu better, but I lie the sizes on holo better.
the longer I stay on XDA the more I learn about phones........imagine that.
I'm waiting to KG, waiting until a kernel and TPR is available for a GS#, then I might consider trading my Epic. I dunno, wife says I need to swap over to HTC, but she and my oldest have no much with Samsung, me on the other hand, as long as Its not a BB I'm good with it.
So swapped my white GS3 for the blue one at Best Buy and had them price match to Radio Shack sale and now have only paid $95 for my GS3...now to root and start work on a theme first until EB can make me a kernel.
TPR forever!

Well, after taking a week of vacation after doing that little mod with the power/reboot pulldown buttons, I've found that I end up getting a "forceclose" of "android system" something or another every once in a while when I'm using the device. I don't remember the exact words of it, but if it helps, I can write it down exactly when I see it again.
And also, if one has three fish, and they are all swimming to the right, you SEE them swimming to the right, and along comes someone who says: Those fish are swimming to the left! Who do you believe? Your eyes, or the person who says rotation works? Anyway..
Yes, I have been using Go Launcher, actually. Is there something I should know about? A setting I shbould inspect or something?

Ha! Marcusant's statement was general, it works for 99% of the users. Sounds like you have one of the stubborn few phones and a salmon that wants to swim downstream to spawn...lol.
I never used Go Launcher but seen someone else have trouble with it...I think it was Johnnyepic.

Any ideas what might be wrong?
Thanks.

You have some mild data corruption somewhere. You can try using Titanium Backup and wipe data in Google Services Framework. But it may be an offending app. Try to keep track of exactly what you are doimg everytime it happens.

Okay. I did the wipe for the "google services" thing. I'll letcha know if I see it again, but for the record, it would always come up at seemingly random times for me. No particular program seemed to trigger it. There would just be a slight pause, then the message would come up but everything would be good again after that. It's also worth noting that I never saw that error before I flashed that modification, but hopefully everything will be good now (I also did a cache wipe and a wipe of the infamous DALVIC CACHE).

When the rest of the massive school is swimming to the left you mean?
Anyway Go Launcher has a separate setting in there for auto rotation. Make sure that's checked too.
