Default [Help] I think I completely bricked my device

What happened I was on build 38 of aokp (had devil kernel installed) and I tried to see if I could install notta's hybrid/tablet patch. I made a nandroid and figured I had Odin if anything went wrong. Well it didn't work and it didn't get passed the aokp bootscreen so I tried using notta's 3-finger bootloop breaker and well that's when things starting going really bad. I installed the cwm4 first then the aokp one then I tried installing build 40.1 of aokp. But I also installed gapps and a new devil kernel all at once. When I hit reboot now it would only boot into the devil recovery so I tried the aokp one again but now it won't leave the Samsung boot screen and now my computer won't recognize my phone. Nothing pops up on Odin either and I can't install the right drivers for Heimdall because it won't even see my device. So nothing I do is working I think I just completely bricked my phone :/

I bricked my phone once. I uninstalled the drivers. Rebooted computer. Re-installed drivers and used Odin. Went ok for me.

You could also go to Device Manager, find the phone, and click Update Drivers.
Devices:
Helly Beaned Fascinate
CyanogenMod-Equipped Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

Having trouble with the Fascinate? Check out Droidstyle's awesome guide here.

You could download the drivers from droidstyle's guide or search for them on the forums. Also, you might try installing THS build 1 or 2 (also on droidstyle's guide) BEFORE you install anything else, that might prevent the boot looping problem. Also I wouldn't install so much at once, try one at a time. Hope I helped

Might have to do so. But it seems as though I can get the phone into download mode just that the phone doesn't popup on the computer at all.

The phone doesn't appear whatsoever on the computer anymore. Not even as an unrecognizable device.

Just to make sure the bases are covered, have you tried:

Different USB slot on laptop?

Different cable?

Download mode w/battery out?

Using a different computer?

Determined repeated attempts at rebooting computer, re-downloading and re-installing drivers, reattaching phone, etc., etc. until Odin recognizes the phone.........the way an insane person would do it?

If your phone goes into download mode, but doesn't appear in Odin, I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. When I've had this same problem in the past, this has always fixed it.

It seems like it's pretty hard to permanently brick these things.
