Well I'll be darned, there it is in the init file. The wlan_tool is definitely not in the bin folder prima facie. Luckily, unlike all the other files listed, it's simply a shell script. I did some googling and can verified that it hasn't changed a whole lot over the android life span.

I found two of them, one seemingly generic and one supposedly for the ar6102 specifically. Both "built" for cm9 4.0.4 in mind. So it should be a good starting place if nothing else. I've attached both as well as all the bin files listed in the init from the 6800 release that just dropped. Hopefully that gets you closer to a solution.

I have tried all kind of different combinations today and I am not sure about those tools anymore. It seems that Samsung didn't remove lines from init.rc and the new ath6kl driver does not need tools to operate. That's why they are not present in ICS p6800 system/bin. Tools are for 2.6 kernel and ar6003 driver only I guess.

We need 3.0.15 tab7.7 kernel sources and driver binaries to make this thing work.
