I had AT&T,T-mobile and now sprint, bro what i would give to go back to T mobile even with the damn data cap.
I have the same problem here in puerto rico,my advise complain, and take it to any legal ways you can to break free from the contract, either roam a ton,or complain about Sprint not giving you a basic service which is expected when you sing with one phone company,is not your fault that sprint has no signal and a crappy network.
That is what i will be doing soon,in my case my credit is already bad so if they don't deliver or change me to LTE i take my number else were and leave the devil to pay the bill...
When a company screw you,is your right to screw them back.

Data service is not guaranteed and isn't considered a necessity, as long as your voice calls work you can't break your contract for data. However you can usually get your 10$ premium data fee waived if its really that bad, however bad is usually consistently less than 100kbps to be considered to get the fee waived. If its only slow during peak hours and you live in a congested area you won't get the fee waived. My data sspeeds are always 800kbps or higher and average around 1.5mbps between peak and off peak. Off peak I get 1.8-2.8mbps on peak 800kbps-2mbps so I have no complaints. Vzw doesn't even have coverage in my area except very weak 1x, T-Mobile has no coverage and ATT only gets hspa+ coverage, so ill stick to paying ~200 a month for unlimited data on 3 lines since on any capped plan I'd be paying out the ass in overages since I average 100gb a month between the 3 lines

I read comments because it's like watching a car crash, only instead of "cars", it's "my faith in humanity", and instead of any "crashing", it's more like "burning and crumbling into the abyss".
Please dont tell us u thought sprint was going to upgrade ur phone without extending ur service? When have u ever known a carrier to provide discounted upgrades without a contract extension? Thats how they make their money back from selling u a 600 dollar device for 200. Im pretty sure they disclosed to u in some form wat was going to take place when u bought out ur existing contract. Not to mention thats exactly wat that program is designed to offer. An option to upgrade/extend contract for customers who arent quite eligible yet. Sorry dude but thats ur fault for not researching b4 making a decision. And why are u bitching at sprint as if they maunfactured the phone? If others like myself have great reception and functionality with the same phone, then clearly u have a defective phone or have done something to it. Of course sprint cannot do anything about that. Its not their fault it gets bad reception. They didnt design the cellular radio. Like someone said u have ur old device, reactivate it. Sometimes in life we spend money nd wish we had spent it on something else. But u have options just like others have said so exercise them.

If i have 800KB i would be happy,i am talking about my phone not opening pages,my call dropping all the time my 3G and even 1X disappear some times for more than an hour.
Sprint here suck incredibly bad,my phone use to work and i use to get 800kB my pages use to load, after sprint started to change to LTE my phone data and voice went to hell.
I don't know if you have right in US to protest a company who is not giving you a service you are paying for,but here in Puerto Rico you can.
Is expected that singal will not cover every where, but that doesn't mean sprint can charge you for something they don't have,4G here is basically non existent, why in hell i want unlimited uncap data if the crappy networks doesn't work.
Like i told you it was slow but it did open my pages, now my phone doesn't open even facebook which is a light application,
I don't even know how you can average 100GB in 3 lines that get 800KB,dude that would take for ever, and non stop data usage,i know i have been a hug ever since DSL started to show here on Puerto Rico, always downloading stuff even when it was 256KB.
I remember those days and downloading a CD was a pain in 256 kb,sprint doesn't care for its costumers at all,all they want is my money i will complain and will keep fighting,if they don't act well i will leave sprint there is always a choice.
