Hi Milan,

Thanks for the wonderful walk through on flashing your ROM. I performed the steps exactly as you said, and the phone is working fine however am unable to restore my contacts backup.

I have a GT-S6102 (Galaxy Y duos) purchased in UAE.

I followed the steps on using the CWM, and i used the CWM-try1 zip file posted by you.

After installing TECHNODuos, I found my contacts database was not restored, therefore I was trying to locate the data.img file to restore from infact the backup folder contains no .img file at all.

Please help. does this mean if i needed to restore back to the stock ROM I will not be able to do so?

Is there any way to re-gain my contacts from the backup that was taken.

You must go back to your previous backuped rom first. Just by restore via cwm if u r already backed it up.
Back up your data via kies.
Flash again with TD rom.
After flashing finished
Run kies and connect your Handheld by Usb
Via kies u can restore your data.

Man, don't let this isolated fact upsets you. I know that someone leaking your job sucks, but your work is helping people all around the world. Yesterday my phone wasn't even turning it on and searching the internet I've found this forum. I did read all the 47 pages and your custom rom and explanations helped me bringin it back on. I saw people from India, Malasya, Hungary, Colombia, Brazil (where I live), USA and a bunch of other countries who was in the same situation and your help was fundamental.

The 6102 is a new cellphone and there are so few programmers working on it... Please man, continue your job. The world cannot suffer with a bad attitude of some ***hole leakers...
