Default Any way to AutoMerge contacts like HTC has....?

In my HTC Evo, whenever the phone detected similar names, emails, phone #, etc... it would prompt me with a list of contacts which 'might' be mergeable... Thus you don't end up with 4 entries of "John Doe" in your contact list (1 from google, 1 from linked in, 1 from facebook, etc..)

Does Samsung not have this feature? Do I really need to go through my 150 linked in contacts 1 by 1 and merge them manually? Holy hell.

I really am starting to dislike some of the Samsung UI decisions, my 2 year old HTC was much better at contacts in general. (Though I've found an app called Contapps which does a pretty good job of adding back the missing functionality.)

Well, anyone know of an automerge app, or is it a setting I'm just not seeing?

That's how Samsung phones are. There's an app called haxsync which works but only for facebook. This is one of the features I loved about sense.

One of the nicer features of sense. When i switched my Dinc to CM7 i really missed this feature. Also google changed how it sync phone data so apps like facebook dont control the phone book.
