I've already removed google now, removed the lib files, and updated BusyBox. With the other three additions you made, would it be hard to drag and drop files from the new rom to my phone so I don't have to flash this a whole new rom? I use to know where the bootanimation.zip file was on the samsung vibrant, but I'm not sure on this one. I also don't know which files control the CRT Animation. I'm sure I could just pull car Home as well, but are there any other files besides the .apk I should know about if I do that?
Shouldn't be too hard.
I believe you need services.jar for CRT animation, bootanimations are in /system/media/.
You'd have to download the ROM in order to pull these files, at that point, you might as well just wipe cache/d.cache and flash
Which leads me to the point that I just tested with just wiping caches and from R1.5 and there are no issues

Thanks man, sorry for being such a pain this is so much fun lol
hahaha, no worries. Thank my wife. She hasn't ripped my head off yet for spending 90% of my day off in front of the PC, lmao.
I spent SO MUCH time trying to get hold volume to skip songs done today, it's unreal. I hate spending a ton of time on one mod and coming out in the end without it done. Oh well, will have to work on it next weekend (unless clark44 is able to get it done before then).
Also could have a nice chunk of new mods. Been talking with FiveOhFox who originally started the initial ROM with me and he's about to start college back up and won't have the free time to support a ROM. He already modded some things and wants to pass them to me to include. So, if/when that happens, you'll all have to thank him as well for that!

Sweet. It's good to know which file affects the screen off and on animation. I kind of wonder sometimes if things get missed or done in an incomplete way if we don't do a full wipe before flashing a full rom. For example, I noticed that when I just flashed over R1 with R1.5 it never moved busybox to xbin. So, to play it safe, and to not have to reflash the Adama kernel again, I figured moving a couple files over would be just as easy and probably more educational for me. Does the Car Home app require any lib files or anything like that?

Nope. I forgot where I found the apps I provided (I tested out about 6 different ones before I settled), the ones I provided are suppose to have support for official car docks (where when it's placed in the dock it automatically switches to car home). I don't have a dock, yet, so I can't test it.
