Here is what i did to install this on my tab running firmware XXLA4PHN
I am not telling you to do the same, just sharing my experience in installing ICS on my tab. Got multiple PM from other users, so i hope i can help some out.
I started a backup of all my favorite apps with data using Titanium backup.
After The backup whas finished i started CWM and did the following:
-Wipe data / factory reset
-Wipe cache partition
go advanced
- Wipe Davik Cache
After this i put the tab in download mode (pwr and volume down)
I started Odin 1.85 and selected PDA (!! watch out that re-partition is not selected!!)
I selected the file MD5 file that i downloaded from Sammobile:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?p...0&r=-1#modelsa and started the installation.
After installing i skipped the setup in Android. I gave the tab a few minutes to settle and then entered my google account and from there restored my apps from the Google play.
To be able to restore my apps with Titanium backup i need ROOT acces.
Installed busybox and Superuser from the marked and after went into CWM.
Did the ROOT installation from CWM using root.zip but that didnt work.
So I downloaded the CWM-P6800-20120512.zip file from Chainfire from his rooting threat:
This worked perfectly..
Used Titanium to restore my apps and usable stuff and now i am back on track.
Must say that i think that GPS is quite slower then the HC 3.2 version...but it works
Hopefully this may help someone out who wants this amayzingly fast and stable Official Android 4.0.4 ICS build.
Good luck and Cheers!
