id try a wipe and reflash make sure your mounts are correct. Some people have experienced this but i have not.

I tried this multiple times, wiping /data, cache, fixing permissions, reflashing, nothing worked though. Looks like a great ROM, it's disappointing I can't try it

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't that the issue that was fixed by Odining back to stock before flashing? Have you tried that?

Hmm well I'll try playing around with it some more next week, if I have time I'll try going back to stock an then flashing... thanks for the ideas

yeah the older Swype runs alot better to me than the latest beta, thanks for the lib tip

I'd still like to see a upgrade/addon/fix for Rage3.6 to make the voice stuff work. If you use the microphone, it appears to work until after you have spoken, then you get an FC on Voice Search. Also, if you go to settings->voice_input&output->Text-to-Speech you get an FC on Settings.

Does anyone have this working?




WolfV2: Just go into recovery and format all partitions except sdcard. Then check your mounts, install the ROM, check your mounts again, then reboot. On first boot, do not touch the phone for 5min. At least let it boot to lockscreen and turn itself off after 1min. Only then, turn the screen on, unlock it, and start setting it up. One more thing... back in the Cupcake/Donut days I had a tablet that did that same thing and you were able to bypass the "click the android" screen by pressing in each of the 4 corners clockwise starting with the upper left (it may still work).

not one included by default, it sounds like they might start including Swype in next release though?

I use SwiftKey-X for phones and Hackers-Keyboard for tablets.
