Nope, none of that. I don't actually make or receive many calls from my phone. One a month if I'm lucky. I just make sure wifi is disabled when the screen is off. Other than that, I'm not doing anything special - I run the full gamut of apps and widgets.

The Galaxy S III has one of the largest batteries of any phone on the market. It's really important to remember this! Regularly going 24+ hours on a single charge - while nothing special for this phone - is actually pretty well unheard of for any other Android phone under the damned usage conditions (Droid RAZR MAXX aside).

If you're getting less than 24 hours between charges and you don't talk on it much, I'd be looking at the reception in your area; poor reception can kill your battery faster than you would believe, gigantic freakshow of a battery or no. Possibly you have a rogue app doing seeing crazy in the background, too.

Other than that, maybe some bizarre combination of firmware is doing something. That may be worth checking out, but I'd be quicker to blame other stuff first.

Go into Settings, Apps, Gmail and clear the data. Next time you open gmail it will rebuild the messages and should start working again.

This being said, this is the CM9 development thread, not the gmail support thread. Lets get back on topic, please.

Hi guys, I seem to a problem installing apps outside of the market. When I download an APK and go to install it, the install button wont respond to my touches. Is this just me or is anyone else experiencing this?

You're using an app with an overlay.
