umm we don't have magnets under the screen so there isn't anything there for the magnets to be used with. Are you referring to the case staying closed against the screen when not in use? All the magnets do on these knock offs is adhere to each other to allow for the stand. I've not had any trouble with the magnets not being strong enough to be used in the two stand options that the case offers.

So i am basically screwed for a "smartcase" option then huh? Pretty stupid if you ask me. Why have that built into an older version of a samsung tab and completely bypass it on the new one??? FAIL

Has anyone thought of putting a strip of thin magnetic tape on the lower edge of the tablet to keep the cover closed?

I really dont want to make my nice tab look all ghetto like that but appreciate the input. And after learning more about apple sueing samasung over their design of their first tab over copyright infringement i think sammy decided to avoid the BS from the punks at apple. Oh well...ill still buy samsung over apple anyday. Im already over it as the smart case still works in all other capacities for me.
