Default Sennhesier MM30i

I bought these headphones about 1 and a half years ago back when I had an iPhone, so the remote does not work with the HOX. The microphone works and the centre button works to play/pause but thats it. However only $50 on amazon and I have found the sound quality to be amazing (although I'm not an audiophile).

I would definitely recommend these if you don't mind the limited remote controls. There may be a better version of these out now but at the price they are still great.

That doesnt look too bad honestly. Hows the sound quality compare to say the stock iphone headphones, and maybe more expensive ones?

Well they are so much better than the stock iPhone ones in my opinion. I haven't really used any expensive headphones, the only thing I can compare them to is the Beats Solo headphones which I got for free with my HOX. The clarity of these compared to the beats was just so much better and I ended up getting rid of the beats ones and keeping these. The sennheisers are just great in general and I would definitely recommend them to you.

Hi I have been wondering about an headset upgrade over the last few weeks and been searching through the forums for the right headset with music controls which function as most headset controls seem to be compatible for iphone/ipod.

The Klipsch s4a was the best choice given the reviews but they were about £ 65

Jays one + was the next option

I finally bought the dr dre urbeats monster in ear headphones. This headset works really well with the one x with mute/answer call, forward/back skip track buttons functioning. It does not have a volume control. But if you get the Jays App you can control the volume by long pressing the mute button. So far so good. The quality of the headset is very good. I have got the poweramp app which coupled with the headset works great for me.
I got it for 33 pounds from handtec which was a great deal. I beleive the iphone version of the same headset- ibeats is around 60 to 80 quid.

I hope this information is useful for you guys.

I have both the Klipsch s4i and the iBeats and i like the Klipsch s4i way better. The beats audio does help a lot but with certain type of music the bass is too much. iBeats are a bit heavy on the ear.

I use power amp for all my music and i can say its the best 4.99 i have spend. I love the EQ and the app look sick.

The downside to the s4i is the controls wont work. There design for the Apple line. In my case it does not bother me one bit. The Mic still works. If you want volume control get the s4a.

Doesn't it work if you hold down the play/pause button when plugging the headphones into the jack?

150 for earphones? you could buy a tablet with these money instead of earphone...or you can visit 2-3 times(depending on the hooker or her pimp) a hooker(well spent money)
