Yea really don't buy this crap. Your letting VZW win if you do. Now we can rip into them way more with their bull****ting lies. I'm not pleased with Samsung releasing this either, we shouldn't need to waste $600 on a phone just to match other carriers.

This just means, the developers will unlock the regular version faster.

Crappy of vzw to to do this, but it should help.

To stop the WiFi notification just use sqlite editor and open settings storage then settings then secure, look for WiFi notification line and change it from 1 to 0, reboot and no more WiFi notifications. If you are on the Sprint root version,I think it's about line 10, if on the Verizon rooted version then it's about line 80.... However, after this change the system will show modified in settings,about.... You can change it back using sqlite editor and then the phone status will show normal in the settings, about.

You'd be out of contract with VZW. Which is appealing. I've enjoyed the last few months where I actually have the option of moving somewhere else. This is likely the last phone I'll buy on contract with anyone. Hopefully other carriers will have decent networks in the next 12-18 months and I can just buy phones directly from Google.

I'm not happy having VZW be my only choice for decent service in my area. I'm ready to leave as soon as it is feasible.

I am really not trying to be a douche, but why in the world would you pay $750 for a device that costs $650 (for 32GB model) directly through Verizon?
