Kernel V6 made my laggy cm9a8 (no offence, probably a problem at my end) butter smooth.

Awesome work!

Can you update kernel with updates from a7 and a8 please?

@XDA_BAM : Oh! That slipped my mind... I guess I was too busy with the backlight problem... I'll look into it.... Moreover I couldn't test your kernel with HID support... I guess it was v12....

Developers should seriously think about usb otg feature now.
Well I thought team UC was looking into it.... I once had a look at the nook code... but this is my only phone... and I'd hate to lose it because there's some risk involved.... however I might give it a try..

Well the fixes of this kernel have already been included in the other kernels. However, if you people still want to use this kernel then I'll work on it until kernel 3.0 is ready.

And regarding the CM7 kernel, there's no point in releasing it because Frankenstein has already done the job... Cheers to him

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all USB OTG cables should work with all phones, regardless of manufacturer, unless the physical dimensions themselves are different.

You can go to the nearest Nokia Care and buy a cable. I don't know any other manufacturers who supply OTG cables. Samsung doesn't. Or you coud buy it online: [ebay.in] - Rs.84.

U will not get exactly device specific otg wire. U have to buy nokia usb otg wire (CA-157) & u have to give shape to it so that it gets fit in our usb slot. You will get that cable in any accessories shop. Dont buy it online. It will cost u more.
Cost = 150 to 250 Rs max.
I will post screenshot of my modded cable later.

Edit - Ok buddy. I used exactly this usb shaping method which is shown in the video. It worked perfectly for me

Yea, but don't know why, your kernel works the best for me. Phone's more smooth on your kernel, than any other.
