which kernel you flashed
LP7 or ICS
because i previously heard ICS kernel had WiFi issue
meanwhile i use ICS and WiFi works properly for me
and have you flash the latest kernel 5.5.0.4

After a whole-ton of problems and reading through 18 pages I couldn't solve my final issue.

After installing root.zip, it said the device is mounted, SU granted and stuff, yet Terminal Emulator tells me I do not have root access. No clue what I'm doing wrong.

Using LPQ/LP7 Kernel, I guess. Any help?

I've used the basic steps in Method 2 and I have root (temp CWM).
Now I need to give the phone away unrooted. Can someone explain me how to remove the root? (I wish it was as simple as factory reset or uninstall Superuser app...).

Thanks!

I have rooted my S2 using method 2. It's a success.
Today i got an update notification from play store that an update version of superuser app is available. Should i install it?

Is it normal to have all zero serial number (show in setting -> about phone -> status) after root using method 2?

Default Method 2 loop

I'm trying method 2.
My ICS version is 4.0.4 KERNEL 3.0.8, base I9100GZCLPE.
No problem until STEP 4 but when I am in CWM it's looping once and another into menu and I can't select any of the options. Any clue?
Thanks in advange.

Jordi
