Did you use darkside? It always messed up my miui install. I had that same issue with darkside

From what I've read darkside is not recommended when using touch recoveries. It does something to the cache that generally screws it up, leading to bad installs. If you use darkside, it's advised to wipe the cache again after using it.

Yeah I stopped using it because it always messed up my miui install. My previous post wasn't elegant, I was in a hurry when I wrote it lol. I was just asking if he used it because his symptoms where the same thing I had when I used darkside

Sorry, didn't mean to sound as if I was accusing you of using it. That last reply was meant to be a backing statement for your reply, as well as informing those that use darkside and have issues that if they want to continue using it they need to wipe the cache again after using it, before installing a ROM.

just checking if people are seeing the slight lag when going into text ,contacts,dialer usually those apps open instantly I'm noticing a 2-3 sec lag which aint much but i can notice I know what I'm use to seeing .. other then that the Best miui ever on our skyrocket Battery has been great everything still running good except for the known issues already and this slight lag thing.. STILL my DD for right now

Yes, I noticed the issue. It's pretty annoying.
I contacted the MIUI dev's asking about the possibility of an official release now that we've received an official ICS release from Samsung. Unfortunately, they most likely wont, at least not anytime soon. They are doing a poll on Facebook and they will work on official v4 releases for the top few phones. The skyrocket only has about 3 or 4 votes, where as the top 10 or so devices have several hundred votes. In fact the top 3 or so have over 1000. Such a bummer :/
