I have just installed ICS on my Desire, I have 30MB of free internal space, loads of space on my SD card but I can't download a 6MB app because of low internal space! Don't get that.

Is there something I should have done before installing ICS?

you will most likely need an sd-ext partition, created using gparted or 4ext recovery (backup your sd contents first, then search for guide).

specific rom requirements (hboot, sd-ext partition size etc) should be written the first post of each thread.

instructions for enabling sd-ext should be in the first post as well...

failing that search the specific rom thread...

And if you need help please state which ROM you are using because there are many ICS-roms around, so it's really hard to help this way.
