Default bluetooth 3.0 data transfer speed

hiii. i hv galaxy s2 and dell xps 15, both having bluetooth 3.0. but when i transfer data through the bluetooth, it show transfer speed at d max 200 kbps . but as far as i know, bluetooth 3.0 can have a maximum of 24 MBIT/SEC transfer rate.
Can anybody tell my how to transfer data at higher speed..

To get what you want the laptop and sgs2 should both be connected to same wireless network. I suddenly noticed that. In my home wifi the transfer rate speed reaches 1mb per sec. May be in better wifi networks it increases even more...

Are you sure your computer/USB receiver supports USB 3.0?

Apologies, I had meant to write Bluetooth 3.0, not USB.

I forgot to notice that not any bt3 can do high speed, just those are bt3+hs like sgs2.
And ics does not support hs.

from wikipedia: "Bluetooth 3.0+HS provides theoretical data transfer speeds of up to 24 Mbit/s, though not over the Bluetooth link itself. Instead, the Bluetooth link is used for negotiation and establishment, and the high data rate traffic is carried over a collocated 802.11 link."

so that's why they have to be connected to same wifi network
