To flash latest recovery is a good way, but do you have changed the flash.cfg to the matching values of your NAND ROM?

do you mean you turn the phone on with the reset button or the power button

mine is HTC HD2 T8585 from Malaysia. Can i use the ROM upgrade from from htc website?

Doesn't work on HD2 T8585..,
Phone just stuck on splash screen / HTC logo
