Hi, can someone giveme a noob guide to install this rom on my xt862 with 906 update?. Thanks!! I'm lost because all guides are for .890

It won't work with .906.

Let me try to explain clearly

use 1.boot.img 2.cdrom 3.cdt.bin 4.device_tree.bin 5.lbl 6.logo.bin mbm.bin of 906 rom,
7.allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm-.bin 8.ebr 9.mbmloader.bin 10.mbr of 890 rom replace into folder of xt883 rom.
modify md5 of these files in xml file of xt883 rom.
and delete line below.
<step operation="flash" partition="recovery" filename="recovery.img" MD5="36e63a35ef3ca8b8cd3f860400829b1e" />
than use RSDLite flash again.

or flash this rom directly

hope it works.

I've tried this and other methods. Once on .906, it will error out on install of any of the current XT883 ROMs.

you can try to use moto-fastboot only flash system.img of xt883 to current 906 rom

with system.img only it boot make all sounds but the screens is always in black, you hear all sounds but not see anything :S

This does not work, either, unfortunately.
