I have ICS on my Milestone 2 (nightly from yesterday). So... let me get this straight:

1) I've updated my LiveView yesterday.
2) Install the LiveView Application and paired the LiveView, waited for the name to show up.
3) Edited build.prop
4) Bought and installed LiveView Manager, ran the linkkeys fix, enabled it and set it to two minutes. It helped, but it still disconnects periodically (I think once it loses the signal it struggles to connect again, so it works as long as the signal is OK).
5) Installed LiveView Charm, enabled. Installed AutomateIt, set the two rules.

It's kind of ridiculous to buy an app, install two other apps, and now I still have no guarantee that it will work reliably. The dropdown menu is now cluttered, I don't like this.

Alright, so it connects back after losing the connection (gone away from the phone) with this setup. It's overkill, but it works.

I gave up trying to get the Liveview to play well with my Galaxy Note. None of the manual fixes, Liveview Charm, Liveview Manager, etc worked for me...
In the end, I bought the Smartwatch last evening. And my! What a huge improvement once you update it to the latest firmware! Not one connection drop... and it auto connects within seconds if you step out of range and back. This is what the Liveview should have been to begin with.
It think the only hope is that the Open Liveview project makes some progress and we have an alternative to the lousy Sony Ericsson software.

I know that it's not nice to ask more apps, I have posted a new version that no longer ask them because now it includes the same functions (except for linkeys of liveview manager). I didn't understand what you said about the dropdown menu

It's wierd, I don't loose my connection doing that, but I loose it some times because the ICS/GB ActivityManager closes the liveview app, with the fixes the services can restart but you ned to conect your wath again and get those frustrating 2 seconds.
With the SE liveview source that would be really easy to fix, but I doubt sony release it, they just want to sell the new smartwatch.
So Yes... The only 100% way to make it work is with the Open Liveview project if they make it work at full.

I've released a new version (2.0), now the connection is much stable and there is no need to perform the guide

One would think that the "Fix Bluetooth Permissions Requests" would turn of those damn annoying messages from the phone saying "Connected to bluetooth device LiveView with pin XXXX" every few minutes.

If that wasn't what the app was supposed to do, is there anyway to fix it?

Does anyone know how to fix the problem, that every build-in plugin I'm trying to run I see only a cross over the icon?
I really searched over Internet to get a solution, and nothing
