i tought so i after all have contact with ASUS and they were going to get some people for testing here at xda

A more open Asus, with a beta test programme for technical users* would instantly do two things.

1) result in Asus shooting to the top of the cool list for tinker-types.
2) result in a more stable end product for non-technical types, with more bugs out of the system prior to OTA update.


*technical users being those that meet a minimum criteria of producing accurate and technical bug reports and not just "it doesn't work waaaaaaahhaaaaa".

If Asus doesn't do this, it's only a matter of time before someone else does it and takes the crown.

Bear in mind that the TF101 still has issues with ICS, so don't hold your breath too long!!

There is that. But Asus has had the code for a while and I think the bug fixing via XDA users will go a long way to fixing various issues.

Quality bug reporting, not bug fixing, that's best left to Asus.

may i'll get back stock after all XD..

seriously i hope asus will release jb for tf101, they said there would be updates for 18 months since the device came out.
