Are you transferring to your external SD card or internal? If it's to your external it may have to do with the write speed of your SD card? What kind/class SD card are you using?

It's not the SD Card. It must be something to do with CM9.

Regardless of what other people are suggesting, you do NOT need a secondhand kernel for CM9 to feel normal. What you describe is much more than "could be snappier with overclocking". Make sure you've factory reset, then try reflashing CM9.

I've had this issue ever since I started using the h0tw1r3 unofficial builds at RC0. I think this has something to do with CM9. It was the same before HW even built a custom kernel, so it can't be that.

Stopped working again. In order to make changes I have to choose the toggles I want to use and set them then re-flash and they are set but then cannot change it again...
