they haven't a clue what they are doing... no way will I purchase any hardware from this bunch of advertising salesmen again - my Nexus One was replace 8 times and continued to have a low light camera fault to this day - don't trust them as their expertise is selling advertising not hardware.. shame

When I looked at the transaction in G'wallet it said 'not shipped' but now that has gone so.............maybe........just maybe.........come to daddy.....

So much for a productive day at work. I didn't think mine would show up until next week. Wallet is updated as shipped with a tracking number. Money has not been taken from me and tracking number is not updated. I hope it's at my door when I get home this afternoon.

I'm too excited. There must be some disappointment right around the corner with my name attached.

This thread has gone really quiet the last few days but i am still seeing very few people who ordered after the 4th July receiving 16gb devices in the UK....

As a 10/7/12 orderer I am expecting nothing til the end of next week - when did you order?

I received my pre-ordered Nexus 7 yesterday to go with my Sam's purchased Nexus 7 from July 13th. Couple of points that you may want to think about as you await delivery of this awesome device!

- Google Nexus 7 case is awesome. I have one Nexus 7 in a Kindle Fire case I purchased and the other in the Google Gray case purchased on Play. The one with the gray case looks about half the size of the one in the Fire case. I highly recommend the gray case, its sleek yet solid. You may want to purchase two of them though as the piece of plastic that joins the "door" to the back of the case seems kind of thin so you may need an extra case.

- I have both devices covered in the XO Skins screen covers. They go on very nicely but they do in fact scare you as they look like they have streaks and bubbles right after they are put on, but those go away after a few hours.

- Now the bad news. The Sams purchased Nexus 7's screen has malfunctioned somehow. It is completely washed out and faded. This happened all of a sudden. It is so bad when it is first turned on that the colors are hard to see. If I return it to Sam's I will lose the $20 XO Skin screen cover. After about 5 minutes the colors all come back so I don't quite know what to do yet. Ill probably eat the $20 and take it back to Sams today for an exchange as I like the idea of having two Nexus 7's. See screen shots below of the washed out look, and then the return to normal after 5 minutes.

- On the pre-ordered device, I would have never known it was shipping if I did not have My Choice UPS. If you are still waiting for your device in the USA you should go register with MyChoice UPS immediately.

- As I have two devices I didn't want to lose the $25 Play credit so I created a new GMAIL account and registered each device to a different GMAIL account. This works with no problem at all! I also received the Google Wallet $10 gift card on each device.

- The Google wallet gift card is a bit tricky to get. Launch Google Wallet App from the N7 and create your 4 digit PIN. Once it is through registering the PIN and your Google Wallet account is active simply select the Google Gift Card (colorful card with a + sign on it), it will say activating card, and then you will see a $10 gift card right there ready to use! Again I was able to get this on both devices so it works well!

Any questions let me know! Also if you have any suggestions on my washed out screen please offer them, because I don't know what to do.....either I live with it and take a risk that the screen will completely die, or I eat the $20 spent on the XO skin and return it to Sam's club. I am on the fence on this one. Enjoy your Nexus 7 as I LOVE this device!!!
