There are important changes that needs reboot to disable. Otherwise, system will be unstable without a reboot. You can use light gaming mode for daily use. It will make your phone fast and nice battery life.

GameBooster mostly helps CPU leaks. This means yes, even GameBooster produced for this already. I can't guarantee you every single game. But it will be much better.

GameBooster supports Galaxy Ace fully. Which ROM you are using? I think you got wrong build.prop. Tell that your ROM developer.

i would love to buy this to use on my 1ghz processor 512 ram sony xperia phone.

how does this app works? does it overclock my phone?

if its yes, the problem is i havent unlock my bootloader. but my phone is rooted.

but can i use this app if im using a stock rom and stock kernel but rooted sony phone?

You can use this app with locked bootloaders. It only needs root. This app won't overclock your phone.
