Iv been asking asus online about the possibility of a bootloader unlock so I can get my debloated stock rom out, and finally got a response saying there are plans within the next two weeks to release such a tool. Here's hoping!

Oh yeah it'll come, but it means massive development on this device, let alone we've already had the kernel source code
I'm really looking forward and expecting for Asus Transformer TF201 Ubuntu and CM9 dualboot preview - YouTube on TF700.

Lets see this happening in the future and what the open-source community can achieve on this device!!
Are you a 'ASUS' die-hard fanatic worshiper!!?

the keyboard on this thing rocks. i love that it charges the tablet. the amount of options for expandable storage is great as well. as someone that invested a lot into microsd cards, it pays off because i don't need to get an SD card. i can just put one of the micros in the adapter and use it that way. plus my thumb drives work great as well. i'm very excited so far.

We'll be getting some great development on this device, and I'm excited for Ubuntu, to see how well it will run.

I bet they can Speaking of Jelly Bean, Asus has confirmed we will see it on the Transformer Tablets-

Now, how long that will takes is anybody's guess, but I bet somebody ports it to the Infinity soon.

Hey guys how does the charging with the dock happen? I'm asking cause I always wondered what it was like.

Does it just drain the keyboard of battery first (While plugged in, dock will always be supplying power first until it's drained) or is there a sort of balance between the 2 (dock kicks in at a certain percentage or something)? Cause by always draining the dock first, the battery in there will get damaged right? It's not exactly explained in the 201 manual (I downloaded it to have a look heh).

Hmmm... This is the best argument I've heard for a 64GB model. 32GBs is plenty of space for Android, but a bit crammed for Android and Windows... And I'd also like to put Ubuntu on it too...

Suddenly the 32GB version seems inadequate... I just changed on Amazon order to the 64GB (Champagne) version and am now taking a 1 week hit on my estimated delivery date. This hurts! What the heck, good things come to those who wait.
