haha, i flashed the new files just last night and the phone's been idle most of the night since i'm not using it. as for cpu app, i've disabled setcpu so nothing shouild be controlling it right now though i'll check it again to see if any setting in there shows otherwise. in the worse case scenario, i would hope to get at least the same run time as stock 6.2. thanks again.

No i just use the basic ones but the tweaks used to stick before but as of recently they havnt been working

You should check this out...

"If you flash the new TrickDroid tweaks app - please note that in order to maximize the amount of working tweaks via the new app , you also need to flash Menu & APM, one of the EQS versions and one of the Rotating Rosie options in Aroma Installer. New battery stats. Seems to be doing better already since I haven't installed any apps. It must be a rogue app sucking up all my battery life.

I've got twrp and i'm all set up to flash the rom but the one thing I just want to get straght is the kernal. I have to flash this from the rom after right? And if that's the case, is that done through twrp?

Flash kernel after the ROM with fastboot

it looks like the speed reset back to v06 stock speed after a reboot of the phone. i think i'm just going to stick with stock kernel for now as this virtuous stuff is too much hassle without giving me any results.

Common problem with virtuous kernel. Probably because it's built off of the euro source code.
