I have one alcatel ot 908 f and i rooted and released, but i change the lcd density and the phone becomes unserviceable. I taked it to two repair shops but I returned without any changes. Thanks to your post and room I savet the phone and now I have it like a new one. All this with the little knowledge I have about mobile and linux! I mean you have to open cmd.exe from Windows and enter some commands to that console
to open cmd.exe Start/Run/ cmd.exe
but you have to open cmd.exe in the folder where fastboot.exe resides well, you have to know where is your Android SDK installed and search for fastboot.exe folder usually ~\android-sdk\platform-tools\ by ex. on my PC fastboot.exe is located in c:\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools\fastboot.exe maybe yours is c:\Program Files\\android-sdk\platform-tools\fastboot.exe
copy in this folder recovery.img then open cmd.exe

start/run/cmd.exe
then change to folder where is your fastboot.exe by ex

cd c:\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools\
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

move 908 sfa!! Ole, ole!!
