If you are on CM9 its in the eri.xml file in the framework-res.apk. You need to decompile framework-res edit the eri.xml and then recompile the framework-res and push it to the phone.

Not sure where its stored in other roms.

i've got an easier way, and it's worked on every rom i've used
unzip this and put this in /data and use root explorer to change permissions to rw-r--r--
then reboot

I don't have my donor phone its probably with my flasher who is charging me to fix the data, can I still use this guide or is there another way to flash my data back to 3g

Didn't work on TPR v2.2.1 (a tweaked TouchWiz ROM)

3g looks like it died. I still have the 3g icon, and an occasional up arrow, but I am not transmitting data.

My next step will be to reconnect the incognito and if that does not connect to call Boost customer service, if it does connect, go through the steps again and if that doesn't work, to get a new Epic.

Any other ideas of things to try for non-working 3g?

Sounds like your not the only one having issues with data on boost. I'm wondering if there service is just down.

Hey guys just a wondering question here. Has anyone ever changed their phone number after the flash? I flashed 3 years ago and it's been working great but i need to change my phone # ( crazy ex gf issue lol ) would i have to do the full dance again? Would i get new internet keys with the new number or just a new number?

Just for general info here. I went and changed my number. 3g keys are the same didnt have to do a thing. I had my donor phone and the rep made me input my new number and my new msid number. With those 2 numbers you are good to go on qpst and Swap them for the old ones. If you dont have the donor just pretend you are doing the steps and write down the numbers i guess.
One more thing qpst wont read phones on ics roms. I was on cm9 and it never read it, i had to go back to a gingerbread rom to use qpst.
