Is funny but the screen problem begins in me with the 26.7 rom, and after re flashing this rom with the new CWM for JB, the screen issue has gone forever

Far as I know the 3113 is wifi only so tether isn't worth a lot. Mine is, assuming that's the norm. So lock screen over tether there I think.

It pretty much means its not worth updating with the lock screen issue, but wherever it falls in the fix list is fine. Love having this.

I tried to flash this ROM on my 3113 but the installation aborts and says

"assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "p3113" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "p3113" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "GT-P3113" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "GT-P3113" getprop("ro.product.device") == == "espressowifi" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "expressowifi" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "expressowifixx" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "expressowifixx"
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-10-20120726-EXPERIMENTAL-p3113-CODEWORKX.zip
(Status 7)

Anyone seen something like that before? I'm going to redownload the ROM again to see if it's just a problem with the download.

yes it happens if the rom u r flashing does'nt belong to your model ,are u sure your model is p3113 ??

i am pretty sure your model is different ,the above stated error happens as the targeted device no & the rom model no in updater-script do no match,verify again if your device model is correct & if u have downloaded the required file

I edited PhoneWindowManager.java and WindowManagerService.java and built from source.

Here is that build (it does feature the touch issue, I'd have put in the working wifi if I knew how)

That is what it tells me the device is when I'm in the stock rom in about device. Also on the outside of my box it says GT-3113TSYXAR.

Ok, so I see a couple things I may have done wrong, in my rush earlier I grabbed CWM for 3100 and not the 3113. Also I tried flashing from my external SD Card, and OP says to flash from internal. So I'm going to try again. I will let you know if thats where my mess up is at.


...and bam, either one of those or both of those was my problem. Wrong recovery.

That sucks that mostly everybody is having issues with build 0727. It's been my dd since it came out and I haven't had any issues with it...yet. I have flash working and my home screen rotates (thanks to the Launcher2.apk) provided in an earlier post.





Review of what I have:
CWM P3113 (JB) - 6.0.1.0
Build 0727
gapps 20120726
Other than that I just opened cm-10-20120727-EXPERIMENTAL-p3113-CODEWORKX.zip with winrar and replaced the Launcher2.apk then simply flash, flash, wipe and it worked! Thanks again for a great ROM.

For the people who want the tablet interface in the build 2012-07-26 or in another build (because the touch issue in the newer builds), this is the procedure:

1. Download the Rom posted by Danrarbc (thanks for the rom dude (y) in this post:

2. Extract the rom, copy the following files to the tablet (SD Card or Internal Memory)

android.policy.jar
services.jar

The files are in this folder

system\framework

3. Use the tablet to copy and paste the files in the following Folder

/system/framework

For do this, you can use Root Explorer or another explorer with root, these are the correct permissions in the two files after the copy/and paste (this is a very important step)

4. Reboot the tablet, and that's all

Notes

This patch works very well in the 3113, i don`t know the possible bugs on the 3110 and 3100, be sure to make a backup before the procedure

Bugs

The original launcher its buggy, the icons are not aligned correctly, using nova or apex to fix the problem.

Log in Dropbox before patch the files, the app will crash if you don`t do that.
