There's alot more you can do with extweaks than with just rom control. I'd say use the extweaks if you really want to customize your kernel settings.

Confirmed. Not working with ktoon & task650 v7.3.2012 aokp rom. Device locks up as soon as super user grants ROM control permissions! I really wanted this for the dual boot feature coz I want to keep this ROM as my primary ROM!

You must be doing something wrong. I was using this kernel with Aokp until I flashed the CM10 preview a few days ago
