Thought the screen was super tough. I stabbed my phone with a knife to test how tough the creen was. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpR306UYNBc
Check out the video to see the outcome. not sure how it would fare with sand though

Whats the main difference between those expensive screen protectors like Skinomi or Zagg and chinese protectors that cost a dollar, besides price?

quality. even the ones that are $5 are made cheaper so they dont fit or stick as good. if you are referring to the dry apply protectors then most of the cheap ones scratch really easy and dont have a nice feel to them.

The cheap ones will usually scratch up like crazy after just a few weeks, and show fingerprints like crazy. Also, they will start to peel off pretty quickly. They aren't worth a dollar, and you will end up replacing it soon, anyway.

I had a Bodyguardz on my Desire Z for about a year and a half, and Skinimi for a year, and both are still looking great. And the quality screen protectors are much more resistant to fingerprints than the cheapo ones.

I am curious about this myself. I have heard really good things about Realook and was wondering if anyone here has tried them.
I worry about the orange peel effect.

The wet application is nothing more than soapy water. Take a cereal bowl fill it with water put 2-3 drops of dish washing liquid in it and GENTLY stir to dissolve and you have the exact same stuff.

I'm amazed with how much good stuff everyone is saying about the skinomi that im so disappointed. Mine's rainbow-y as hell on light colors. Bugs the hell out of me. Loved the SGP on my SGS2, so I might just get that, cause I loved their material.

Reading this entire post i can conclude:

Skinomi wet is the prefered screen protector by most users
ZAGG Invisible shield HD is amazing but it's cut pretty small to make it "case friendly"
Zagg regular invisible shield protectors, suck, have orage peel and fell quite rubbbery
SGP kinda sucks because they make their protectors way too small

There not too many comments about xoskins, do you guys like it?

Ive read good things about best skins ever on the international one x forum, what do you think of it?
