Someone said that backing up a system app, deleting it will not allow you to reinstall it?
I always thought opposite but seeing that confused me
Could somebody just clarify for me?
Thanks

PROBLEM WAS Home button no longer worked and calls would go straight to voicemail even though all settings were ok.

I just tried to remove the Bruce Lee and Star Battalion games but it says "cannot remove system app. Failed to locate the apk file."
How do I remove them?

Question Odd thing happened when removing apps

I just rooted my X Play yesterday and started playing around with Titanium Backup Pro and noticed something odd. I wasn't going to bring this thread back to life but since someone beat me to it I'm posting a strange thing that happen while I was removing apps. I removed a bunch of apps from several of the long lists in previous posts. But instead of gaining free memory I actually lost some. When I started in the “All” list I was at 255 MB free and now I'm at 248MB free and in the “Running” I was about 238 MB Free and now I'm at 216MB free. I uninstalled a lot of stuff, some I deleted but my free memory went down not up. I'm new to this so I don't have a clue, does anyone have any ideas?

I do like the 38 second boot time however.

Alex
Have to many phones to list (all non carrier branded and unlocked), but I'll try. Lets see there's the SG S, SG SL, SNex S, SG Nex, SG SIII SG Tab 10.1, SE XPlay. What do you know, it's not that many after all.

Did you clean the Dalvik cache after deleting the apps? There's an option in TB in "Menu>More>Clean up the Dalvik cache ..."
