no, i mean i uploaded it to yt from my phone via usb to my computers browser.
however i took more video today and when i play it back on my phone's gallery, it does the weird audio compression thing again.

Well I'm not a dev but here's my regular troubleshooting queue.

1: Clear camera data/cache.
2: Reinstall Camera.
3: Reflash Rom and Camera after clearing cache and dalvik.

Check if it works after each of those steps.

Have you messed around with any audio settings/tweaks in the ROM itself?

Haven't touched any audio in the rom

I'm moving everything over to Jelly Bean. I have to download the new source and port everything again. Should be done in a day or two.

well for me personally its more stable when switching to front camera (and faster) and so far is more responsive. Plus a few extra options.

Picture Mode
- Volume Up : Take Picture

Video Mode
- Volume Up : Start/Stop Recording
- Volume Down : Take Picture (while recording)

NOTE : Burst shot is currently NOT in v1.4, this feature will be added later.

:'( focus!!!please!

I am using cm10 and was hoping this camera helps.
I dont understand if thats me or the cameras are messed up.
None nexus (cm9 cm10 aopk) cameras have resulted good for me.
even this. WHY DONT THEY FOCUS!
samsung camera is beautiful when focusing.
why cant nexus camera be like that.
