I just bought a case for my One X this morning! It was the first smartphone case I ever bought.

I spent quite a while looking at the various offerings online and in stores for quite a while. I didn't particularly like the look of the official HTC ones available at the AT&T store, as I thought they stood out too much. I wanted something a little more covert that didn't detract heavily from the original looks of the phone. Eventually, I settled on this case from bestbuy:

Platinum Series - Case with Holster for HTC One X - Black

Now, had I only seen the pictures on their website I wouldn't have given it a second thought. I have no intention of ever using a holster with the phone. But, as it was the only one at the store I figured I might as well try it out. Needless to say, I was very impressed. The phone looks very "stealthy", if I were to describe it. I think if batman were to get a phone, this would be it. :p My phone is charcoal grey and the case is black, so they complement each other nicely. Hopefully I can track down a camera and snap some pictures.

The texture of the case is very nice as well. It's a 2-part hard plastic case with made out of something that makes it feel soft. It's the same as the HTC Aria back or the Motorola PEBL (if you happen to have felt either of those phones). The only downside I can find is that the power button is kind of hard to press correctly and doesn't always register. I guess the price was also a downside too. It was $35 at bestbuy, but that's the same price as the cases at the AT&T store too so I can't really complain. The best part? Everything lines up perfectly! I couldn't be more pleased. I highly suggest you guys check it out at the store. The sales associate didn't have any problem with me taking it out of the box to try it on.

Edit: I guess this is the same case that was mentioned above! I didn't see those posts. xD

I dunno why bestbuy.ca doesn't have them for sale. It doesn't make sense to me.

posted up over in the one x forum this morning (even though it is the same phone) but i thought i would also post it here. just wondering if anyone has one of these cases and or has seen them. http://shop.htcpedia.com/htc-one-x-side-leather-case.html it looks like the phone fits well in the video.

i only got my one xl yesterday and i got one of these for a quick solution http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Leather-...ccessories&hash=item5d33f5eaeb#ht_3585wt_1115

it works until i can get something better, but it doesnt quite cover fully where the cut down is. if is spin the phone around, the camera doesnt quite get covered also. i am also a little concerned with the lack of a closure.

not sure about the magnetic closure. do these have any effect on the screen at all.

Go to best buy and get their platinum brand case with holster. It is a 2 piece snap together plastic case that is coated with a soft like texture, hard to explain you just have to see it yourself. The inside is lined with a felt like material to protect scratches from the case itself. The power and volume buttons are like integrated into the case so it is not some cut out, the power button is somewhat harder to press thou because of it.
Everything is well protected. Just go on their website and look it up. Highly recommend this product.

I have the same case and it's garbage. I'm not sure if you got lucky and got a good one but mine has fitment issues all over the place. The tabs that hold the two halves together are hit and miss so some parts of it do not snap together correctly. It doesn't fit the curvature of the phone so it makes the phone feel very flimsy when you're holding it. The face is too bulky and makes it difficult to access things on the edges of the screen and the lock/unlock button.

I just ordered this one for my sling/messenger bags. Check the reviews on Timbuk2, search for 3-way Accesory Case. I had one for my iPhone and it's good if you walk/bike to work. It was also good for running too so I think it'll be good. Make sure you get medium.

Still not sure if I want to grab the official case. Would probably look good with my white HOX, but just not sure I'd like a flip case.
