Yup. The HOX power button positioning is stupid to begin with though. How about the buttons, easy to press?

Just saw them in thread, glad I didn't order it.
I just bought a case for my One X this morning! It was the first smartphone case I ever bought.
I spent quite a while looking at the various offerings online and in stores for quite a while. I didn't particularly like the look of the official HTC ones available at the AT&T store, as I thought they stood out too much. I wanted something a little more covert that didn't detract heavily from the original looks of the phone. Eventually, I settled on this case from bestbuy:
Platinum Series - Case with Holster for HTC One X - Black
Now, had I only seen the pictures on their website I wouldn't have given it a second thought. I have no intention of ever using a holster with the phone. But, as it was the only one at the store I figured I might as well try it out. Needless to say, I was very impressed. The phone looks very "stealthy", if I were to describe it. I think if batman were to get a phone, this would be it. My phone is charcoal grey and the case is black, so they complement each other nicely. Hopefully I can track down a camera and snap some pictures.
The texture of the case is very nice as well. It's a 2-part hard plastic case with made out of something that makes it feel soft. It's the same as the HTC Aria back or the Motorola PEBL (if you happen to have felt either of those phones). The only downside I can find is that the power button is kind of hard to press correctly and doesn't always register. I guess the price was also a downside too. It was $35 at bestbuy, but that's the same price as the cases at the AT&T store too so I can't really complain. The best part? Everything lines up perfectly! I couldn't be more pleased. I highly suggest you guys check it out at the store. The sales associate didn't have any problem with me taking it out of the box to try it on.
Edit: I guess this is the same case that was mentioned above! I didn't see those posts. xD
I dunno why bestbuy.ca doesn't have them for sale. It doesn't make sense to me.HELP! Where online can I buy this case that will ship to Canada?
Searched Amazon, Ebay and google and got nothing at all... I want this case!
If anyone knows please post!!!
EDIT: Found out seido makes them so you can get it shipped to anywhere pretty much here http://www.seidioonline.com/
US$40.38
Shipped to my place cost. Which doesnt include holster, since I dont need it. So expensive... I'll keep looking around...

I have the same case and it's garbage. I'm not sure if you got lucky and got a good one but mine has fitment issues all over the place. The tabs that hold the two halves together are hit and miss so some parts of it do not snap together correctly. It doesn't fit the curvature of the phone so it makes the phone feel very flimsy when you're holding it. The face is too bulky and makes it difficult to access things on the edges of the screen and the lock/unlock button.
seem that no one has tried the htc messenger cases. how about these ones. more like what i am after.

any opinions.
I found this case, looks cool, http://dx-box.com/capdase-soft-jacket-xpose-sparko-till-htc-one-x-s720e.html
Looks a little misaligned, if that phone in the photo is the international version which has the camera I little above the One XL then I don't think is going to fit very well.
Does the Case-Mate Barely There Case elevate the camera lens when it is face down on a table?
OK, so I'm anal about my phone and its cases. I wanted something that was a color match, covered the corners and camera, was slim, and well finished. This is it. It's a fantastic case. It matches the grey perfectly, has a soft-touch finish, no moulding seams at all, doesn't cover the on/off switch, and is a 100% perfect fit. Outside the light of the camera you can't even tell the phone's in a case. I'd recommend it highly.
P.S. - The model really is "Magic Cookies."

So with people now saying that the camera glass on the LTE version sits inside the metal ring (barely, but enough to prevent scratches), I may buy this case and get a dock, I was avoiding it because I didn't want scratches on the lens.
