I've got a small issue... :$

About a month ago, i rooted my Asus eeePad and installed the switchme application. Great tool, i even bought the full version (first thing i paid for)...

Now today, my girlfriend had the message that there was a system update. She did it And now, we can't login anymore.

Basicly a profile is completely loaded, and we see the small lock. You can drag it to 'unlock', and the title 'log in' appears.
But that's it. Nothing more, nothing less...

Any idea how we can bypass/solve/... this?

Hi. This is all explained in the help file - you must disable the switch screen before updates.

Search the main thread in my sign for 'unswitchme' to temporarily uninstall the app.

Lol, i'll give you the phonenumber of my girlfriend. You may try to explain her this.

In the meantime, i'm back up again.
  • Uninstalled SwitchMe through the 'play store / my android devices'.
  • Reboot the tablet
  • Restored rooted system with 'OTA RootKeeper'. (this was installed before the upgrade!?)
  • Reinstalled Switchme through 'play store'
  • And rebooted...

I was afraid that i would lost my different profiles. But after these steps, the profiles are still alive...

Unswitchme would have been much quicker.

I tried this but had to many probes after switching profiles would boot loop cleared cache dalvik. Nothing worked reinstalled system and got back in. Did this 2 times and lost patience. The first time I had to wipe. I really low the concept but don't have time to wipe restore to much

Installed just for emergencies. Did two switches on JB. Seemed to work OK.
Acer Iconia or Galaxy Tab 10.1 ?
My comparison
