I just added a little Jollybean joy to CM10's boot animation (since it's the same as CM9's) for anyone who cares to update it themself after flashing (since the bootanimation is obviously not a top priority at this point).
Boot animation here
phone #1: SGS3 (SGH-i747); ROM: CM10.1 Nightly (JB 4.2.2); kernel: Stock @ 1.5GHz || KT747 @ 2.1GHz(!); misc: Incipio Silicrylic case; 64GB class10 microSDXC

To be honest, this rom is the only reason I still have this phone. Without CM10, I would have returned it and got a Galaxy Nexus for almost double the price, but now we have stable jelly bean with better hardware specs.

Thanks Cyanogen.

Now that would have been interesting to downgrade

Good grief man. Lay off.

I had the previous build and i didnt have that issue and I flashed this one and I now do.

I'm glad there isnt a way to search for users home address's. I have a feeling there would be a lot less people on this forum.

Thanks for the non-constructive criticism though.
It is listed as an issue on page 1...just sayin.

Boot animation here
Hey, as far as editing the boot animation, I made a very extensive attempt to port over the jellybean nexus boot animation to the i747, but after I built the zip and put it in its place, I rebooted to a blank screen no animation and then out of now where-- home screen. So not sure what I did wrong, maybe permissions on the zip file. Idk. Anyways, I have the complete file set if you want it to make some magic happen for me.

Default MMS

I have executed a search for any related MMS issues related to the one I am having, but did not seem to find anything; If I overlooked it it, please accept my apologies.

The issue that I have experienced is that I will send an MMS message (picture message to be specific) and my phone will show the time stamp of when it was "sent." However, I have noticed that many times, it will not actually send until the other person has sent me a picture message in return, or it will just be delayed several days.

Example:

I sent someone a picture on Monday afternoon. They just received it on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday morning, I was attempting to send someone else pictures. Person 2 said the sent me a picture, however, I have yet to receive the picture.

After performing a reboot, nothing seemed to change.

I find it very sad that there are so many snarky responses to repeated questions. This thread now covers several versions of the preview roms. Yes, there is a OP that has been religiously updated; I am thankful.

Camera issues have been a problem since the beginning, but if you read/follow the thread some have posted various solutions even including dirty installs as 'working'. (let's see, I have to install a custom stock rom and it's updates with two different cwm versions before this one without wiping? ) It is counter productive to continually chide posted comments without either links or useful response. Even a lmgtfy.com response is more useful. We end up with people who have to apologize-in-advance when they believe that they have a new bug or an old one resurfacing.

I have always believed that these extended threads covering multiple versions of roms make for more confusion than they are worth. A single thread for each version or two (locking the old thread) keeps the information pertinent to the current status of the rom without the thousand posts that don't apply any more that are searchable and no longer pertinent.

It would be a greater benefit to everyone and foster clarity.

I return to lurking.

I agree Stan.

I have a bug, I have no idea if it's been discussed, is there a running list? 162 pages!
If I'm listening to google music on headphones, and I get a notification, the volume goes down like 90%. but when the song is finished and the next song starts, the volume resumes to where it was before.

If you toggle the volume up or down the sound will come back right away.
