only problem that kexec has is that it has a small chance of losing data but backing up ur imei will fix that.

It has not been proven that kexec causes lost data...other carriers such as att are having worse issues with losing imei and they dont use kexec.

It's not kexec that's to blame for data loss, other carriers have the same issues. Kexec is just another way of hijacking the bootloader that's all.

For those having dead battery charging issues. This has been a frequent CWM issues, especially on ported versions and/or on 2nd-init versions. The issue happens on the X2, the Rezound, and other devices.

On another note, besides the 7/31 update not automatically updating GAPPS and making me have to generate another 2-Step password, this version is VERY stable, so far. I couldn't find a change-log.

do d2hacker's rom also require separate gapps flash or are they baked in?

safe to grab latest jb apps from (http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip) ?

Just loaded CM10 and the latest gapps - everything seems to be working perfectly from a gapps perspective.

Those are the GAPPS I used on 7/26, and I am using the same ones right now. I only flashed the new ROM, when I booted I realized none of my Google account items were listed, although I didn't do a wipe, so I just installed GAPPS again. Kinda disappointing it didn't automatically update. My nexus roles over the current GAPPS when I flash any of the AOSP/AOKP ROMs.

Will developers ever get BT media too work or is this a Samsung issue?

Just tested MMS - Doesn't seem to be working for sending. My phone number still shows up as unknown in Status.
