I can't seem to figure that out either. I repeatedly have to refresh the system UI...this got annoying so I just deal with having it in its default position.

I hop around ROMs, but only remember one bug from Viper... For some reason after a few weeks it stopped using high res pictures for facebook contacts and used low res versions of the same pictures instead. That's always bugged me... Like nails on a blackboard. It's why I can't use Senseless ROMs. Viper's battery live was pretty awesome for Sense.

Oh, just remembered, there were some graphical glitches in a few apps.. like Pool.. the screen where you have to agree to the user policy was always a white screen so I couldn't agree to it. A minor thing since I could restore data from a previous ROM.

I'll probably be back on it soon... Especially if there's an update.

Any significant difference in viper and newt one xxx? Both sense 4. Is it the auto update thing?

I haven't tried Viper yet but I am going to try it with Boot Manager as soon as my 32gb class 10 card gets here. OnE XxX has been rock solid for me and I haven't had some of the problems that I've seen reported with Viper. I'm using the HD cam mod for it and it is working great. I am looking forward to trying Viper, though. I think most of the ROMs out now are pretty damn good, especially considering what the devs have to work with. It all really boils down to your personal preference.

First off, this ROM is an epic win!

I have been having trouble getting the boot sound to turn back off. I turned it on at first just to hear what it sounded like, but now every time I turn it back off and reboot to save the change, it turns itself back on. Any thoughts?

Use a root file browser, /system/customize/cid/ and there should be 2 default.xml files, copy to your computer default.xml and default.xml~ switch out the ~ and copy them back, no more boot sound , if you need help doing this pm me.

Do not change them on the phone it will start to crash and you will have to use adb to push the files to fix it.
