Hey guys,
Last night I updated my Sensation, to Android Revolution HD 1.2.1 for HTC Sensation 4G (T-Mobile).
I wiped it and flashed Android Revolution HD 1.2.1 for Tmous.
When it was done flashing, I re-booted.. It has been in a continuing boot loop since 1 am.. It is stuck on the HTC Quietly Brilliant screen..
I have cleared it a couple times when it kept going for hours.
It gave me an error message when it booted in the ARHD boot thing, saying that it was missing an image.
Are there any ideas to fix this?? S-OFF BTW.
I have work tomorrow and need to use it..

It sounds like you are missing a boot.img, look in the ROM's .zip file and see if it has a boot.img in it. If it does not re download the ROM and flash it again. Also what firmware do you have cause the wrong firmware version can cause bootloops too.

I found the boot.img in the stock folder. Do I just put it on the Sd card?
When I went into the Revolutionary boot, it said cant find the image under HBOOT
It said something like checking image sd.
I have been using the same firmware since June 2011.. The ARHD. ( Sensation With Beats)
And decided to Update last night...
Since Im on T-Mobile, I went with the ARHD 1.2.1 t-mobile update.
Oh but yes it is true, my Hboot use to say the exact same thing until I changed it with the bootloader customized. You used Revolutionary to unlock your device but have since flashed another firmware like I did that is why you have the 1.27.1100.

You need to update your firmware then to 3.32 or 3.33 to solve your problem, probably 3.33. You can find the firmware in the "User Friendly Firmware" thread linked in the OP.You will have to flash of via bootloader, but the thread had full instructions. Also you have to use ADB fastboot commands to flash a boot.img or recovery if it has been packaged into a flashable .zip.

Thanks for all of your help and time!
That is the bootloader looking for those files on your SD card, the files have to be named the names you see. But it file name is meant for a different type file. The file name you want is PG58IMG.zip. You need to download either the 3.32 or 3.33 firmware in post number 2 of this thread. If you use 3.32 and have a T-Mobile US device then use the TMOUS 3.32 firmware package if not use the Universal 3.32 firmware package. If you use the 3.33 firmware download the Universal Full packsage. They are already in PG58IMG.zip files so just download the file and place it on the root of your SD card and boot to bootlader, but remember to remove the file after you flash it or it will try to flash it again whenever you boot to bootloader not letting you get to recovery manually.

Actually, i got my sensation second-hand. He already had s-off, supercid and root on it. I consider myself lucky.
Thanks for topic. I am your latest noob. So point and laugh! Coming back to Android with a HTC Sensation after 3 years on iOS (I won the phone dont blame me!) and its good to be back. Going to go over everything on the forums before I root for the first time in ages.
