OK it sounds like Google is shipping a yakju IMM76K build on newer international I9250 devices. When you get an OTA update, could you share the link with us? It's pretty easy yo get the link if you follow these instructions:

1. Enable USB debugging on your phone. You can do this in Settings - Developer Options.
2. Install aLogCat from the market. It's free.
3. Wait for the update notification on your phone.
4. Before installing the update, go into aLogCat and do a filter for ".zip" (without the quotes).
5. You'll see an entry with a URL that will look something like http://android.clients.google.com/pa...K.abcdef12.zip
6. Post that URL here and receive our eternal thanks.

I will.

(by the way... in this case, have you any idea of when we (IMM76K people) could expect JB update, based on Google "normal" rollout behavior..?)

I can't imagine you guys would have to wait much longer. I would guess the next couple of weeks.

Yea, I got this build as well. I'll update the forum with the link as well as soon as it comes out too. Out of curiosity, how do I check if my phone is LTE or HSPA+?

Thanks,

MK.

You have yakjuxw. You're using an HSPA+ device.

I'm not sure it's strictly true that yakjuxw is just for "certain carriers in Western Europe". Any Galaxy Nexus bought from any retailer (including third party general electronics dealers) in Sweden ships with yakjuxw. These are completely unlocked and unsubsidised devices, carriers don't even enter into the picture.

Is Samsung altering phones for carriers that might or might not ever have the devices on their networks? Has anyone even been able to get a straight answer out of Samsung as to what differentiates yakjuxw from yakju and why the different firmware exists? Those on Swedish forums who have flashed yakju don't seem to report any difference other than more timely updates.

And how do I do that? Is there a link to a 'how to'?

And does the procedure delete anything on my phone?

Thanks,

MK.
