Lightbulb [Q]Blocking App Ads without Root

Is there any trick to remove or block all the Ads which the apps are using without rooting the device?

Thanks in advance.
Current: Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505
Previous: Samsung Galayx GT-I9305N, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S3 Intl., iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S2, iPhone 4, 3GS, Xperia Play, Sony Ericsson Satio, Sony Ericsson C905 & Nokia N73.

Change your hosts file in an original Samsung rom tar rebuild it and flash it .
99% of mods on XDA Development require root .

Without flashing doesn't work?

Could you be more explicit regarding this operation 'inside the rom .tar file?

It will be appreciated.

He gave you a super-high-level view of the process, which would not be easy or trivial. It will be much more time-effective to root your phone and download one of the available ad-blocking apps.

Just in case you are on your own WiFi network, you may fetch the hosts file normally used to block the ads and apply it one way or another on your network edge, for example, on your router. I wouldn't call it effective, or probably even sane, though. Rooting is the way
