Have you tried to use Google Play Music application? I have had no problem at all with playing my music.

Well, yes I did google, but definitely not enough, so thank you for the hint.

I ended up downloading SManager from the market and I'm using it to run the init.d script. I do wish that we had native init.d support, and maybe we do, but I couldn't figure it out.

But I'm very happy now, so thanks to all.

Just to summarize. SLAAC for IPv6 doesn't work without setting "net.ipv6.conf.wlan0.accept_ra_defrtr=1". I'm also setting "net.ipv6.conf.all.accept_ra_defrtr=1" and "net.ipv6.conf.default.accept_ra_defrtr=1". I'm doing this via "/etc/sysctl.conf" which is called by a script which runs "sysctl -p" which is called by SManager.

Rich

P.S. The real main point of all this is that Cyanogenmod rocks and you guys are great, so thanks.

Not here.

Update on GPSLocationProvider drain caused by android system process:

If I reboot phone with GPS turned off, the wakelock doesn't happen. If I later turn on my GPS, it will appear and remain on even if I turn off the GPS, until I reboot again with GPS turned off.

Can anyone else try and confirm/deny this? Use BetterBatteryStats and look under "partial wakelocks" for GpsLocationProvider.

Btw: music playback alone uses > 130 mA in battery monitor widget. Even without LPA this value should not really go over 35 mA. So looks like a bug or something new in the android audio libs. Perhaps LPA will address this.

Scrolled around and didn't see this mentioned. Seems JB has broken some paid app functionality. I wondered why so many folks were having to reset Swiftkey every boot while I didn't. Turns out, apps installed via the Play store are put in a new directory that is not loaded early enough in the boot process. Since I got Swiftkey from the Amazon Market, it worked for me each time. Of course, each boot killed all my paid Beautiful Widgets, but it only took a second to put them back.

daaaamn that I didnt connect these evidences earlier (had this problem with haxsync),.. I dont have this problem with swiftkey as I restored it from TB when coming to JB (just like any other paid apps other than Haxsync)

another approach is installing the app via titanium backup, so install it from the playstore, back it up, delete it & restore it,..
so try this with your BW, might help,..

So for everyone who has problems with Widgets/Apps disappearing after a reboot, try this:
back the app up with Titanium Backup, delete it & restore it!
pls tell me if it works!
