Introduction + One S memory size?
Hi
I've been a huge fan of my Google Nexus One, but T-Mobile never played fair with it, and after finding myself literally stranded (bad idea to rely on the Navigation tool) because their network engineers kept cutting my data, I decided it was time enough to give up and go mainstream.
So a week ago or so I mustered the courage to walk into one of the disgusting neon-pink Tmo stores and look at their phones. Luckily, I was due for an upgrade, and was able to sell my Nexus One on CL for the same price as a brand new One S...

Bye Nexus
Anyway, I got it activated and working yesterday, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the phone, I find it odd that my carrier would offer an
actual,
nice, android phone.
My biggest peeve is that the One S doesn't support external storage, like a MicroSD. When I asked the teenager at the puke-pink store, she told me it wouldn't be a problem, because the One S already has 2Gigs of RAM and 16Gigs of internal storage. "And 16 Gigabytes is a lot of space" I was told, which is true.
Except the phone doesn't have 16 Gigs of storage, is barely has 9.6 Gigs. I can understand 15-point-something gigs, heck I can understand 14-point-something gigs due to the phone using it,
but 6 missing Gigabytes? That a lot less space than I was counting on..
Do the phones just come with 10 Gigs of internal storage, or does the stock Sense/Android stuff take up SIX WHOLE GIGABYTES? (cheating IMHO to advertise as though it isn't)..
Sorry to rant, I love this new phone otherwise and I'm still glad I went with HTC over the Samsung S3
Thanks!,

I'm an idiot, I totally missed the HELP THREAD. If someone feels this needs to be posted there instead, please tell me.
