Little help? on 1.85. but can't get past "'/data/local/tmp' - Permission denied" 7

Could really use some help; I've set the date forward (once only...do I need to set it yet 2 days further with each reboot), and rebooted several times but keep getting the error below. Am I missing something. The instructions just say to run the .bat with the phone in debug (I can see the debug icon in the tray, as well as in the config option).

Did u extract? Ive always had to run the script twice? First time installed super su, second time installed the binaries.

I did, and ran root.bat. This was rooted shortly after buying in early May, and at some point no longer was.

confirmed one click root exploit by beaups still working

just rooted! very happy. was a little concerned with the recent posts about at&t rolling out the ota but i decided to try anyway cause i was sick of being forced to use LTE and having the huge battery drain. anyway the expoit worked beautifully although i did initially set the time forward by 2 days and ran the expoit but the su binaries didn't come through so i set the clock forward by another 4 or 5 days and ran the script again and lo and behold! i have root access. just gave root access to wifikill and a few other apps.

perhaps its because of my location, i'm in the dfw metroplex area of texas. maybe the ota hasn't made it to my area or something. anyway just wanted to share the good news with others in the dfw area.

Sweet. Ya, we believe the update is being pushed in bundles. So u sir, must have been one of the lucky few! Now go unlock your bootloader, and save your unlocktolen!!! U will need it again. Lol

Sadly because of the OTA, the exploit is closed.

the exploit requires you to initiate a software update, since there's an OTA out there, it no longer works.

That's not the case.

The initiation of the software update will still allow this exploit to work. (just don't finish updating, etc.)
