You can try flashing RCmix tweaks, its for 703 originally, but works on 7.0.4

lower autobrightness setting is included in this tweak

Not sure which one I am supposed to post in since I have an Inspire 4G (am on AT&T) but it seems like this forum is much more active...so my question is...that while I love v.6.3.3, I am now thinking of flashing v.7.0.4. I am slowing reading through the forums. As a quick question, are there any known issues with the v.7.0.4 that the v.6.3.3 doesn't have or is it all upside? Does it matter that v.7.0.4 is a port and not an "official" RUU release? The battery life with the default v.6.3.3 set-up is great. I read in one of the posts that after upgrading to v.7.0.4, I may need to update my radio manually? Is this a given or a maybe (depending on what happens after you update, assuming everything goes well, the default radio maybe great for me and my area or it may be horrible)?

The recommended radio for 7.0.x is the same as for 6.3.x, so I think you should be fine with that if it's currently working okay for you.

Regarding any known issues with 7.0.4, since it's a port it may not be quite as smooth on the DHD, but personally I didn't notice any difference between 6.3.x and 7.0.x for speed and smoothness. I posted about the only (minor) issues I knew of at the time here:

I think that's still pretty much current, except possibly that the SuperSU issue may have been fixed in later SuperSU releases. I'd recommend changing the Daemon Controller to 3.3 beta3 though as it's probably more reliable. The thread is full of great posts from experienced users, though, so if you do have any problems just search and you'll probably find your answers - and if not ask, and friendly people will help. (Yes, this thread is generally more active than the Inspire one, though there are some really experienced and helpful guys there as well.)

I'm noticing a 1 bar improvement with this new 26.16 radio. wifi bluetooth & data download seemd better too. if you try it, make sure you download the corresponding ril.zip. it's worth a try

Edit: Could some1 reup? Whenever i click the downloadlink, i get nothing but a cloading screen.

Because 7.0.4 is a ported ROM, the first post still contains 6.3.x, which is based on the official HTC firmware. Also there is a link to 7.0.4 at the very top of the first post.
