TBH, I never bother with screen protectors until this Samsung device. HTC, Motorola, Sony etc... I don't know why, but it seems all late model Samsung smartphones have this plastic-fantastic cheap build. As such, I have not just got a screen protector, I even got a case for it.

I feel like the screen is actually kinda scratch proof! I've had mine for over a year and I have very minimal scratches on the front.

Its definitely not scratch proof. I have a couple dings that tick me off because I'm not certain how they got there. I don't normally carry keys or change in my pocket, but I have a feeling my Passat's keyfob is what did it. They're fairly small, but deep (enough to feel them) gouges.

However, I dislike screen protectors, and the scratches are barely noticeable with the screen on, so I have no intention of adding a protector.

I don't use a screen protector. I feel like if you just use a hard case, keep your phone in your pocket with nothing else in it, and be aware of drops then you should be just fine.

I rock mine totally nekkid. It really depends on the sort of person you are and even the sort of clothing you wear. Personally I've had mine naked as long as I've owned it and it's never gotten any scratches or blemishes anywhere on it that you can see without magnification.
Check out my three free albums on Google Music! Enjoy!

I work construction if something at work is going to harm the phone a screen protector isn't going to do much. Usually keep it in my shirt pocket or back pant pocket, always by itself. I have one minor scratch I think the screen is pretty resistant.
