If you have **root** access, then use Root Explorer and navigate to /storage/sdcard0/clockworkmod/backup/ and delete or rename or whatever. Just make sure to click on r/w at the top of list so you can read/write.

Yeah I tried that. I have root and es file explorer and system is read write. The clockwork mod recovery folder permissions are set to the wrong thing so I can delete them and I can't change permission. It won't let me. I flashed a zip that deleted all my backups to get ride of them. changed to twrp recovery and it works great

Don't judge someone just because they sin differently than you.

Default Stuck in a bootloop and can't restore my TWRP backup

I used this wonderful tool to root and install the TWRP recovery. I made a fresh backup in TWRP and then flashed something that I probably should not have flashed. I'm getting stuck in a bootloop and would love to be able to access my TWRP backup but it's on my Nexus 7 which is now in a bootloop. I'm assuming that the bootloader bug is what's preventing e from actually getting into my recovery using the hardware buttons. I'm sure I left debugging on, but can't seem to be recognized as an adb device when using your toolkit. Well I've powered off to let it cool down, but what should my next step be? Is there anyway, besides flashing the stack images to recover from this (if and when I could get to that point) and wouldn't wiping the device wipe my backup, too? I just want to restore my backup...
Transformer Infinity 32Gb - JB 4.1.1
ROM: CROMI v4.4 with _that kernel
Nexus 7 32Gb - JB 4.2.2
ROM: between sparksco's sabremod and sbdags' CROMi with M-kernel
SGS2 Epic 4G Touch - JB 4.2.2
ROM: Evervolv, Baked or Magical Unicorn
Xoom WiFi - JB 4.2.1
ROM: EOS 4 Wingray Nightly 180
Rockin' TWRP Touch Recovery on everything!

When someone--anyone--helps you, give them a THANKS!

People have said that if it's connected via usb the cold boot works for whatever reason. If that doesn't work, manually boot into bootloader mode and then use the advanced utilities temporary boot button to boot the TWRP img file. Both methods should provide you a working solution to restore your backup.
