I had a problem with mine the other night too, I charged it, took it off the charger at 100% and 15 mins later it was down to 91 % without being used. Within two hours it was down to 31% and extremely hot with no use. When I checked what was using the battery it showed android os . I did a factory reset and the phone has amazing battery life again!!!

How ? No GPS, no LTE, disabled all bloatwares, auto brightness on, bluetooth on only 1 hour each day while driving to/from work.

Most of the bloatwares can be disabled by going to the Settings-Application Manager and then select All. Now select an app, for example at&t navigator, you'll see a button that says Disable, hit that button and you have successfully disabled that app. Do the same for rest of the other app.

Note: some of the default apps won't need disabled, until you are rooted and have Titanium backup.

I wasn't impressed at first use of my Hyperion 4200 may battery, but the second full cycle charge is really impressing me!

I am running task & ktoonzes aokp rom, using the scary governor and underclocking to 1080 mhz. I also have juice defender ultimate running & a screen filter. I am a moderate user. I use my phone for internet lte, emails, nothing major really. Anyway, I am easilly getting two days of solid moderate use. My wife looks at me a little funny when I don't charge my phone at night. lol

While traveling around Japan for the past few weeks
Used it mostly to take pictures and videos, listen to music, play pewpew and occasionally watch a movie or two. Held up pretty damn well between charges in flight mode.
