I'd also like to get my hands on a previous version. As stated before, when the app(v1.5) is running, the cores are really working hard for some reason. I am running this on Faux 6m. Perhaps that is jacking it up some how.

Perfect! Thank You!

---------- Post added at 11:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:48 AM ----------

Is anyone able to get all four of there cores to not be running. The best I can get is one on at around 25%. After watching the video that was referenced in the op, I was hoping to see all four main cores running at 0% when the phone is just sitting at say the home screen.

Im trying to not have any cores running, only the companion core. When my phone is just sitting at the home screen, I would expect only the companion core to be running, and the main four to be showing 0%. But when at the home screen and core 1 is still working away, even if it is only at 25%, it makes me wonder whats making that core still run. What ever it is I'm guessing it's causing unnecessary battery drain and wear on the phone.

Oh sorry I miss understood, I too can't activate the companion core when screen is on but 25% load is surely better than the 1.4Ghz dual core mode we had way back in the early versions, whilst sitting in the homescreens

You make a very good point there. I hope some one comes along with some insight as to why all the cores wont go offline, I wonder if it has to do with the rom/kernal im running. If I could I'd go over into Faux's thread and ask if he changed any operating characteristics of the cpu in his kernal.

I did exactly what 1st post said, but still it shows ?

I'm on CM10 preview 12

Is there a specific state that my One X needs to be in order to do those commands?
